“Come out come out wherever you are” is a familiar call that brings fond Memories of my childhood. As children we would play “Hide and Seek” all day until the street lights Came on.
These days “Come out come out wherever you are,” takes a different meaning more ominous warning:
For context Consider these words of Paul in ( 2 Cor. 6: 16-18 )
Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord…(2 Corinthians 6:17
The theme of 2 Corinthians 6:17 is “Separation”: the following is my summary; of The Scofield Study Bible New King James Version
- Separation in scripture is twofold: separation; from whatever is contrary to “mind of God” and who (1)compromise or our in (2) complicity with evil.
- Separation from evil is separation from desires, motives and actions
- Separation from false teachers, “vessels to dishonor” (2 Tim.2:20-21; 2 John. 9-11)
- Separation does not mean separation from any contact with the world or the worlds church, but, from complicity with and conformity to it (2 Cor.6: 14-18); compare the writer John's words in (John. 17:15) ‘our prayer is not take the lost out of this world (the church or wherever worldliness exist) but that God should keep them from evil.(Galatians 6:1)
Failure to heed God's call and come out from wherever you are, comes with deadly consequences
Failure to examine yourself, (2 Cor. 13:5)will one day have (lasting) and eternal consequences for “all those who say in their hearts there is no God.”(Psalms 14:1) or those who do not worship the one true God.
Those that have broken the shackles of false religion, false teachers to come out, they will receive the full reward for separation, the full manifestation of His divine fatherhood.
Those that continue to reject God's Kingdom authority, and rebel against a risen savior will be judged for their conformity in a lost world.
This world is in a crisis of monumental proportions! Jesus prophesied that these days would be marked by a spirit of lawlessness (Matt. 24:1-12). There can be no doubt we are living in those days.
