Part 7 Social Welfare, Entitlement TWO signs of Genocide plaguing Detroit's communities. The sources and myths of liberal left social justice.
It's a myth only blacks, poor whites sit around waiting to receive a government welfare check and don’t want to work. The same ignorant people (the Klan and democratic party) that called blacks porch monkeys in Montgomery Alabama, and poor whites in the hills of Appalachia crackers and white trash.
Another myth is government welfare programs began with LBJ signing the civil rights act 1964. God made it perfectly clear how we should treat the poor, strangers, fatherless and widows in (Deuteronomy 24: 21) keep this in mind as we consider part 7 social welfare, entitlement two signs of genocide plaguing Detroit.
1.The Welfare Trap
The welfare trap theory asserts that taxation and the welfare system can jointly contribute to keeping people on welfare, because the withdrawal of means tested (determination of eligible for help from the government) benefits that comes with entering low-paid work causes there to be no significant increase in total income. An individual sees that the opportunity cost of returning to work is greater than the little financial return, thus creating a perverse incentive to not work.
The welfare trap concept includes other adverse effects on the family structure: as individuals see a distinct benefit in this lifestyle.
- welfare may encourage the increase in the numbers of single-mother families
- divorce rates go up
- increase levels of juvenile delinquency
- out-of-wedlock births
- and abortion
2.The Entitlement Theory
Entitlement theory is a theory of distributive justice and private property created by Robert Nozick in his book Anarchy, State, and Utopia. The theory is Nozick's attempt to describe “justice in holdings” (Nozick 1974:150) – or what can be said about and done with the property people own when viewed from a principle of justice.
Nozick's entitlement theory comprises 3 main principles:
- A principle of justice in acquisition – This principle deals with the initial acquisition of holdings money and property. An account of how people first come to own common property(Money), what types of property can be held, and so forth.
- A principle of justice in transfer – This principle explains how one person can acquire holdings from another, including voluntary exchange of money and gifts.
- A principle of rectification of injustice – how to deal with holdings that are unjustly acquired and injustices done by a government.
Nozick believes that if the world were wholly just, only the first two principles would be needed, as “the following reasoned definition would exhaustively cover the subject of justice in holdings”:including voluntary exchange and gifts.
- A person who acquires a holding in accordance with the principle of justice in acquisition is entitled to that holding.
- A person who acquires a holding in accordance with the principle of justice in transfer, from someone else entitled to the holding, is entitled to the holding.
- No one is entitled to a holding except by (repeated) applications of 1 and 2. (Nozick 1974:151)
Thus, entitlement theory would imply “a distribution is just, if everyone is entitled to the holdings they possess under the distribution” (Nozick 1974:151). Unfortunately, not everyone follows these rules: “some people (government) steal from others, or defraud them (eminent domain), or enslave them, seizing their product and preventing them from living as they choose (Feds Steal Ranchers Cattle in Armed Helicopter Raids)
,or forcibly exclude others from competing in exchanges” (Nozick 1974:152). Thus the third principle of rectification is needed for holdings that are unjustly acquired or transferred, and how much victims can be compensated, how to deal with long past transgressions or injustices done by a government.
3.The myth of social justice
Each time I hear a person on the far left spout off about their mythical social justice B S, I get my hat grab my wallet and look for the closes exit. I think of Part 7 social welfare, Entitlement two signs of genocide and you should too. Here's a simple test you can do the next time you hear the words social justice coming from a liberal progressive or R I N O republican, ask them what Social Justice means. Choose 2 to 10 and you will get a different answer every time.
Since everyone on that side of the spectrum talks incessantly about social justice, they should be able to provide a good definition, right? But ask ten liberals to tell you what they mean by social justice and you'll get ten different answers. That's because Social Justice means anything they want it to mean.
Almost without exception, labor unions, universities professors , private foundations and public charities claim at least part of their mission to be the spreading of Social Justice far and wide.
The Mission Statement of the AFL-CIO, could be the mission statement for a thousand such organizations:“The mission of the AFL-CIO is to improve the lives of working families — to bring economic justice to the workplace, and social justice to our nation.
The progressive's lust for big government, administrative controls from the universities to the arts and religion, the left damages everything it touches and makes Part 7 Social Welfare, Entitlement TWO signs of Genocide significant.
